Architecture (Latin architectura, from Greece, from  arkhitekton “head” and “builder, carpenter, mason”) is the process and product planning, design and construction. Works of architecture, in the form of building material, often regarded as the cultural and political symbols and artwork. The history of civilization is often identified by their surviving architectural achievements.

In relation to buildings, architecture relates to planning, designing and building forms, space and atmosphere that reflects consideration of functional, technical, social, environmental, and aesthetics. Need a creative manipulation and coordination of materials, technology, light and shadow. The architecture also encompasses the pragmatic aspects of realising buildings and structures, including scheduling, cost estimating and construction administration. As the documentation produced by the architect, typically drawings, plans and technical specifications, architecture defines the structure and/or behavior of a building or other types of systems that must be or have been built.
