Gardening Wings

Master Gardener class itself is lit up, challenging and rigorous. We meet every week for 4 hours of lectures, divided by 30-minute break for lunch. We have a series of visiting professors, each with his or her experience and expertise in specific areas–the science of plants, grass, fruit trees, veges, flowers, and more. We received the book a great resource and strong, with chapters assigned reading each week and take-home quiz. The course itself, which ended with a final exam.

And then start the volunteer hours. Master gardener volunteer trainees must complete 40 hours of total-half in the extension-based projects, such as Matthai Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum to name just a few.
